Vicky is a Laboratory Manager based at the Sanger Institute, where she supports the general day-to-day running of the laboratory, wet-lab research, sample logistics and everything in-between.

Vicky completed her BSc at the University of Reading, her MRes at Newcastle University and her PhD at Queen Mary and King’s College London Universities. She has worked in a range of research areas including genetics of hearing loss and developmental neuroscience.

In her spare time Vicky enjoys long walks with her dog, life drawing and swimming in lakes- the colder the better!
